Redfin hired Tara Olson to spearhead the business in Southwest Florida. Olson worked in the insurance industry for 15 years in Southwest Florida, most recently as a regional manager, and she frequently traveled throughout the region. Her intimate knowledge of the area was put to good use when she turned her decades-long hobby of buying and selling homes into a full-time career. Olson started investing in real estate when she was just 22 and hasn’t stopped since. After working at two boutique real estate firms in Fort Myers, she’s putting her intimate knowledge of the real estate process to use at Redfin, where she’s helping people buy and sell homes throughout the gulf side of Southwest Florida.
