SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frazier Healthcare, a leading provider of growth capital to healthcare companies, announces that Bob Lefton and Bob Zollars have joined Frazier's Growth Buyout team. Mr. Zollars joins as an Operating Partner and Mr. Lefton joins as a Senior Advisor. Both will assist the Growth Buyout team at Frazier with identifying, evaluating, acquiring and advising its healthcare services companies.
Mr. Lefton is Co-Founder, Executive Chairman and a Director of DSI Renal. Frazier Healthcare is a founding investor and a primary shareholder of DSI Renal. Prior to DSI, Mr. Lefton served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Odyssey Healthcare Inc. (NASDAQ:ODSY), the largest publicly-traded hospice services provider, from October 2005 until August 2010. Odyssey was sold to Gentiva Health Services in August 2010 for $1 billion. Prior to Odyssey, he co-founded SemperCare Inc., an operator of long term acute care hospitals, in March 1999 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until the successful sale of the company to Select Medical in January 2005. From November 1991 until March 1999, he served in various capacities at Horizon Health Corporation (NASDAQ:HORC), a provider of behavioral health services, including President and Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Zollars is currently the Chairman of the Board of Vocera, Inc. (NYSE: VCRA) after having served six years as its Chairman and CEO. Over the past 30 plus years, Mr. Zollars has led a number of healthcare and technology businesses ranging in size from $100 million to over $5 billion in revenues. From 2006 to 2007, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Wound Care Solutions, an operator of outsourced chronic wound care centers. From 1999 to 2006, Mr. Zollars served as Chairman and CEO of Neoforma, a healthcare technology company. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Zollars served as Executive Vice President and Group President of Cardinal Health, a supplier of health care products and services, where he was responsible for five wholly-owned subsidiaries. From 1985 to 1997, Mr. Zollars served as a Division President of four different operating units at Baxter International, a medical instrument and supply company. From 1979 to 1985, Mr. Zollars served as Area Vice President and in various other capacities at American Hospital Supply Corporation, a medical supply company, which was acquired by Baxter International in 1985.
