Ambarella Receives GSA Award for Most Respected Emerging Public Semiconductor Company

Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) honors Ambarella for 7th consecutive year

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMBA), a leading developer of low-power, HD and Ultra HD video processing semiconductors, today announced that the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) has honored the Company with the award for “Most Respected Emerging Public Semiconductor Company (achieving $100 to $250 million in annual sales).” The award was presented to Ambarella executives at the GSA annual awards dinner celebration held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 in Santa Clara, California.

To decide the Most Respected Emerging Public Semiconductor Company award, the Alliance identified the company garnering the most respect from the industry in terms of products, vision and future opportunities. The criteria for this award included achieving a minimum of $100 million and a maximum of $250 million in annual sales. In addition, profitability, market capitalization and product successes were considered.
