IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, part of the HSF Affiliates LLC family of real estate brokerage franchise networks, today announced the selection of six new members to its REthink Council, a national group of 15 top-producing, motivated young agents from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokerages around the country.
“The REthink Council is a bridge we’re building across generations,” said Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “This initiative connects young agents with colleagues from other generations and helps Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices provide quality service for consumers of all ages.”
Members were selected through a nominating process for their outstanding professional achievements and contribution to their communities and offices, each member an exemplary agent or broker with proven integrity, business acumen and drive. During their two-year term, council members will work to enhance the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network, provide feedback to network leadership and benefit both agents and consumers.
The new REthink Council members include: Maggie Aiken, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS®, Greenville, SC; Jake Breen, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Utah Properties, Park City, UT; Erika Fultz, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Indiana Realty, Indianapolis, IN; Victor Quiroz, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, Cerritos, CA; Amanda Stepp-Marcum, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Foster, REALTORS®, Richmond, KY; and Anthony Turco, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty, Sunrise, FL.
In addition to selecting six new members, the REthink Council also welcomed Michael Slevin, broker/owner of Vail, CO-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties, as a broker advisor. Slevin joins current broker advisor and REthink Council founder, Vince Leisey of Omaha, NE-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ambassador Real Estate, in guiding the council.
“I look forward to working with this powerhouse group of young professionals who aim to improve not only our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network but also the entire real estate industry,” Slevin said.
Added Leisey, “Millennials are a social generation; they want to do things together for the betterment of all. They want to collaborate, listen and most importantly, know that we are listening to them.”
The REthink Council launched December 2013 with 10 members, who will continue to serve into 2015. Since its inception, REthink has expanded to include local chapters across the U.S., a blog, REthink Report, and a growing Facebook and Twitter presence.
“We know how important it is to embrace the millennial perspective,” explained Gino Blefari, incoming CEO of HSF Affiliates LLC. “This understanding is crucial for agents looking to join an innovative brokerage, and for consumers looking to purchase a home from a company that understands how best to serve them.”
