mPower Broadens High Power Battery Product Planning

Company explores product line expansion

CLIFTON, N.J.--()--mPower Technologies Inc. (http://mpowertech.com/), the consumer products subsidiary of mPhase Technologies, Inc. (XDSL), announced today that they continue to explore the possibilities of adding to their advanced battery technology product line. After successfully entering three portable emergency jumpstarters into the marketplace, mPower continues to search for solutions to fill the need for higher power rechargeable battery products.

Consumer and commercial demand demonstrates the need for an efficient jumpstarter for heavy duty use in vehicles such as large trucks, buses, large boats and agricultural equipment. Along with that demand, mPower sees the need for remote power applications and mPower’s product planning includes back-up power solutions for use during power outages. Presently, products in the marketplace often use lead acid batteries and scale of size can be very large. The goal is to address consumers’ need for smaller size, smarter technology solutions. mPower is exploring portable power packs and higher power rechargeable battery options.

With three products solidly in the marketplace, the company is meeting the consumer’s demand in the portable emergency jumpstarter category. The mPower Jump does one thing and does it well. It can jumpstart a 12V vehicle, car or boat, up to 30 times on a single charge. The Mini Jump, smaller in size, targets an additional market by offering a jumpstarter that has the added capabilities of charging electronics. The Mini can be categorized in consumer electronics. The third product, most recently released, is the Jump Plus. The Plus is marketed to a high volume user such as vehicle fleets and commercial repair and combines the high volume jumpstarter with features for charging electronics and an LED flashlight with SOS flasher. The Jump Plus even runs 12V mini refrigerators and 12V pumps and inflators.

As sales grow and more resellers partner with mPower, the company is looking ahead at the next step in adding to the line with additional advanced battery technology products. mPower sees the potential in growing the relationships with the existing partners by bringing additional product entries to their shelves. The present line of mPower products has been successfully drawing retail partnerships. Because each product in the line has different target markets, it allows interested resellers to buy in to the product or products that meet their customers’ needs. Wholesale pricing is available for resellers and distributors. Distributor inquiries can be directed to dealer@mpowertech.com
