Oomba Adds Two Executives to Development Team, Prioritizes User Experience

IRVINE, Calif.--()--Oomba, a start-up cloud-based social network allowing users to operate and play in tournaments of any kind, welcomes two new development executives to its team, Bob Shoemaker and Dinesh Jude Daewar, further strengthening Oomba’s commitment to improving user experience and enhance overall tournament management and event coverage. Shoemaker joins Oomba as the chief operations officer, where he will oversee software programming and development. Daewar comes on board as the director of user experience and will create an easy-to-use design that optimizes tournament management.

Bob Shoemaker joins Oomba as the chief operations officer. With more than 25 years of experience in programming, management and company development, Shoemaker’s role at Oomba is to oversee the start-up’s operations, establish companywide standards and mature the development process. Before joining Oomba, Shoemaker was the Chief Technology Officer at Hunter Wise Commodities, where he developed the software that streamlined the company’s business operations. Shoemaker also founded Stage 1 Development, a software consulting company, and eLive!, an early audio-video based customer relationship management product. Shoemaker studied computer science at the California Institute of Technology.

Bringing more than 15 years of experience in digital interactive across a variety of industries, including entertainment, fashion, healthcare, education and aerospace – Oomba welcomes Dinesh Jude Daewar as the new director of user experience. Working closely with Williams, Daewar will be leading research and development efforts in shaping the product experience for Oomba's social site and its elegant tournament management apps. He also will be crafting interactive design and user flows across multiple areas, laying out digital road-mapping strategies, and optimizing tools and processes for internal workflows related to the brand's vision. Most recently, Daewar served as a Lead Experience Strategist at Rhythm Agency, where he built a gaming related social network amongst other projects. Daewar also has been a problem solver for high profile projects related to SpaceX, Lucas Films LtdSony Home Pictures Entertainment, USA Networks, FIDM, Sundance Film Festival and Family Guy Online, among others.
