Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. Secures 107 Locations on Behalf of its Franchise Network in October

Franchisees benefit from leading franchisor continuing to secure highly sought-after locations, such as schools, YMCAs, and health care and government facilities

SAN DIEGO--()--Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. (OTC Markets: VEND), North America’s leading healthy vending franchisor, announces 107 locations secured in October 2014 for the intended placement of healthy snack machines across the country.

“Securing quality locations continues to be a key differentiating factor in why prospective franchisees are choosing Fresh Healthy Vending,” explained Alex Kennedy, director of franchise development for Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc. “After selling a near record of 120 healthy vending machines to newly appointed franchisees in the month of September, followed by a prosperous month of location procurement last month, Fresh Healthy Vending is making strong strides to reach its quarterly projected installation targets.”

Educational facilities made up the majority of the 120 locations secured during October. Fresh Healthy Vending continues to support the efforts of the USDA's Smart Snacks in School regulation, which places minimum nutrition standards on all foods sold a la carte, in the school store, and in vending machines. Fresh Healthy Vending’s website platform, www.freshandhealthy.org, caters to the new USDA guidelines and supports locations looking to implement a healthy vending program.

“We recently integrated a new element into our franchise program that allows first-time franchisees the opportunity to designate two machine relocations for every ten machines purchased, at no cost, if machines at certain locations are not performing as well as initially expected. With this option now available, we’re ensuring that our franchisees are set up for success to prosper in their healthy vending businesses,” noted Art Budman, CEO of Fresh Healthy Vending International, Inc.

Notable locations secured for franchisees in the month of October include: Shooters World Tampa in Florida, Orange County Ballet Theater in California, New Jersey Performing Arts School, in Sewell, N.J., West Palm Beach VA Medical Center in Florida, YMCA of Broward County in Florida, Banker's Life Field House in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh Musical Theater in Pennsylvania, Columbus Youth Ballet in Ohio, and Southwest School of Art in San Antonio.
