LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tryperion Partners, LLC (“Tryperion”), a Los Angeles-based private real estate investment firm, announced today that it has closed its second fund in two years. Tryperion RE Fund II, LP (the “Fund”) raised $50 million of fully discretionary committed capital in an initial closing, which may increase to $75 million in subsequent closings. Tryperion will pursue value-add joint venture and direct investments located in secondary markets across the Western and Midwestern U.S. The Fund will target smaller, or “sub-institutional,” deals requiring $3 to $15 million of equity, opportunities which are often overlooked by larger capital sources.
Tryperion will invest in a mix of income-producing office, retail, hospitality, multifamily, and industrial properties. The Fund will implement aggressive asset management strategies, and utilize accretive financing to generate attractive leveraged returns. Tryperion will apply up to 75% leverage to provide the Fund with total investment capacity in excess of $200 million.
