SmartReports is part of StudyWorks™, the secure online portal of all electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) data collected by the PHT eCOA System. SmartReports allows sites to monitor patient diary and protocol compliance between visits and proactively support those patients that may need additional help. It helps reduce sponsor costs by enabling remote monitoring of key compliance measures and safety data trends. SmartReports also allows patients to see views of their own data when appropriate for the program to track symptoms and status of their disease such as glucose measures or medications over time.
SmartReports now includes:
- Project Performance Dashboard – This new composite view of trial operations data is designed for sponsor and CRO staff to track all aspects of the ePRO System including progress towards milestones, contracted values vs. actuals and key site performance measures such as data change request status, support center activity and inventory utilization.
- Interactive SmartReports – More trials are requiring reports which provide data that can be immediately acted upon. The PHT Medication Module supports an interactive report where data on concomitant medications can be evaluated and approved in real time.
- Patient Views of Self-Reported Data – Sponsors are increasingly discussing ways to make research more appealing to trial participants. One strategy for doing this is to provide trial participants with views of their own data. PHT can now provide secure SmartReports for patients to show views of the data they recorded over a certain period of time.
PHT Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Strategy Sheila Rocchio, MBA, said, “SmartReports has a global reputation for helping trial sponsors and CROs turn clinical research data into knowledge. PHT added these new capabilities to make it easier and more convenient for sponsors, sites and patients to use and derive value from the PHT eCOA System.”
