W2O Group Announces Midwest Expansion in Minneapolis and Chicago

W2O Continues to Build Midwest Presence to Support Consumer, Healthcare and Technology Clients

MINNEAPOLIS--()--W2O Group, a network of complementary integrated marketing and communications firms, announced today its continued expansion in the Midwest region with significant growth in both Minneapolis and Chicago.

WCG Minneapolis, which has doubled in size in less than a year, welcomed Mac Smith, formerly manager of social measurement at Target, as the newest director in analytics. Additionally, Scott Shadiow, group director in the healthcare practice at WCG, will transition from WCG San Francisco to the Twin Cities to help grow WCG’s healthcare practice in the Midwest.

“Our rapid growth is a result of the next-gen practices our team delivers to our clients,” said David Witt, leader of WCG’s consumer practice and its Midwest Region. “This momentum will serve us well as we enter into 2015 and continue to expand our consumer, technology and healthcare practices.”

W2O Group also announced the opening of a new office in downtown Chicago with Jessica Carlson, group director at Twist Mktg, serving as head of that office. Carlson has more than 10 years of experience in the Windy City. She will help strengthen W2O’s healthcare practice and bring W2O’s unique skill set to technology companies and global consumer brands in the Chicago area.
