SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sight Machine Inc., whose cloud-based manufacturing intelligence solution helps manufacturers tackle critical quality and operations challenges, today announced it has opened an office in Troy, Michigan, giving it a strong presence in the heart of the Detroit automotive manufacturing community. Sight Machine also announced it has hired two senior technology executives with deep experience in cloud-based software for manufacturing.

The company named Patrick Fetterman as its new vice president of marketing, responsible for all global marketing initiatives and programs, including branding, demand generation and product strategy. Fetterman has more than 25 years of experience in high tech business-to-business marketing, including nearly 10 years focused on advanced manufacturing industries. Most recently, Fetterman was VP of product marketing at Plex Systems Inc., which offers cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for manufacturing. Previously Fetterman served as president of Mi8 Corp., a leading supplier of cloud-based messaging and collaboration solutions.
The company also named Brian Gillespie as director of global sales. Gillespie has nearly 20 years of experience selling complex and powerful technology solutions into the manufacturing industry, including 12 years focused on selling cloud-based software solutions. Most recently, Gillespie was VP of sales at Imaginestics LLC. Previously Gillespie was director of sales at Plex Systems.
Sight Machine also recently hired its first Asia-based team member, who provides full-time support to a Sight Machine customer that is one of the world’s leading consumer brands.
