Dr. Schulman has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field and is a recognized expert in healthcare economics, informatics and clinical research and operations. With the science of informatics becoming increasingly important in healthcare, Dr. Schulman’s expertise in the field will help Anthelio define and develop new, innovative approaches to solve some of the biggest challenges healthcare providers face today.
An Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Schulman’s career spans decades of teaching, research and clinical responsibilities. He currently is an Associate Director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute, Duke University School of Medicine. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Duke Global Health Institute. For over a decade, he served as the Director of Duke’s Health Sector Management Program at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Throughout his career, Dr. Schulman has served on scores of panels and advisory boards, and he has authored and lectured extensively on all aspects of clinical operations and research, clinical informatics, as well as healthcare economics. Dr. Schulman received his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine. He also has a M.B.A. with a concentration in healthcare management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His undergraduate degree is from Dartmouth College.
