DEKRA North America Hires Peter Villari as Vice President of Automotive Expertise

ATLANTA--()--DEKRA North America (NA), Inc. today announced that Peter Villari has joined the company in the new role of Vice President, Automotive Expertise. Villari will be responsible for the strategy, profitability, and service level growth of DEKRA’s Automotive Expertise group, which provides a wide range of third-party, independent, and unbiased inspection, appraisal, and resale services to the automotive industry.

Villari has over 18 years of experience in the automotive, reverse logistics, and manufacturing industries, handling both domestic and international projects. His areas of expertise include customer service, repair management, logistics and distribution management, materials management, and service level agreement management.

Prior to joining DEKRA, he was an industry consultant, and before that held three director-level positions at Barco Inc., a $1 billion company. Villari also spent 13 years in increasingly responsible positions at Environmental Systems Products (ESP), a manufacturer of best-in-class emissions testing equipment. While at ESP, Villari served as General Manager of ESP de Mexico for two years where he led the Emission Testing Program in Mexico, which tested over 10 million cars every year.

Villari will be based in Atlanta and will report directly to Donald O. Nicholson, President and Chief Regional Officer of DEKRA NA. He also will serve as a member of the DEKRA Automotive North America executive team.

Service offerings include third-party, independent reports for automotive liability, warranty claims, mechanical failure, DOT regulations, catastrophe-related claims, damage caused in movement of cargo, physical damage, and remarketing.
