Globo Announces Integration with Samsung KNOX™ for Expanded Security and Management of Android Devices

At CTIA’s Super Mobility Week in Las Vegas you can see Globo’s GO!Enterprise Mobility Management platform with Samsung KNOX™ support.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--()--Globo Plc (LSE-AIM: GBO), the global provider of complete enterprise mobility solutions and Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”), today announced that its Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform, GO!Enterprise, now supports Samsung KNOX™. This integration further enhances security, management and user experience of Globo’s offering for Samsung Android devices.

GO!Enterprise support of the Samsung KNOX functionality includes both the core security platform and secure app container. It will enable organizations to secure and manage both bring your own device (BYOD) and corporate-issued Android smartphones and tablets from Samsung. IT teams will be able to seamlessly integrate Samsung KNOX-capable devices to their mobile ecosystems easily while maintaining full control over sensitive corporate data, apps, devices and network access. Customers in highly compliant markets get additional benefit from the Samsung KNOX Workspace which segments personal and corporate content on mobile devices into separate environments to ensure corporate security and employee privacy.

GO!Enterprise for Samsung KNOX enhances the Samsung Android mobile operating system in key areas, such as:

  • Comprehensive device and container management for corporate-liable; corporate-owned, employee-enabled (COPE); and BYOD devices
  • Container management for BYOD devices
  • Improved productivity through dual persona, support for single sign-on and enterprise app store
  • Integrated hardware/software-based security for device and application security
  • Defense and government ready, including US DOD STIG, MDFPP CC, and FIPS140-2 certifications
