TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Veteran insurance attorney Nate Wesley “Wes” Strickland has joined Colodny, Fass Talenfeld, Karlinsky, Abate & Webb as a Partner to head the Firm’s Insurance Regulatory practice in Tallahassee.
Mr. Strickland, a member of both the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association, has nearly two decades of experience with insurance regulatory law and complex corporate transactions.

Formerly a Partner with a large, national law firm, Mr. Strickland counsels property and casualty, as well as life and health insurers, reinsurers, self-insurance funds, third-party administrators, managing general agents and others on a diverse scope of regulatory matters, such as financial and market conduct examinations, holding company issues and multi-state regulatory compliance. He has managed a wide variety of complex corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, stock offerings, restructurings, mutual holding company conversions, joint ventures and reinsurance transactions. In addition to providing legal guidance to various specialized businesses that are subject to regulation as insurance, he also has experience with agent and agency regulatory compliance, extended warranties, service contracts and life settlements.
