WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Economic consulting firm, Edgeworth Economics, today announced that Michael Kheyfets has been promoted to Partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
Mr. Kheyfets provides expertise in economic analysis and modeling for a variety of clients in litigation, advisory, and regulatory contexts. He develops and analyzes large data sets for complex litigation matters and employs statistical and econometric modeling in antitrust, class actions, commercial litigation and damages, as well as labor disputes. Additionally, Mr. Kheyfets consults clients on a range of economic issues outside of litigation, including data analytics, arbitration, and collective bargaining. He also contributes to Edgeworth’s pro bono practice.

Mr. Kheyfets’ prior experience also includes generating and auditing network cost models, and development of cost of capital models for major electric utilities. He has performed market research and financial modeling for assessing the viability of innovative energy projects, as well as for quantifying the impacts of alleged fraud and imprudence by energy companies.
Mr. Kheyfets received his B.A., magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors, and his M.A. in economics from Boston University. He currently serves as a Young Economist Representative on the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law Economics Committee.
He joined Edgeworth Economics in 2010 as a Senior Consultant and was promoted to Principal Consultant in 2011.
