CHINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Building upon the success of its widely popular SU5000 series, Alvarado has now standardized all key components amongst each of the barrier optical turnstiles in the new SU3000 and SU3500 optical turnstiles. Each product now has the very same superior detection technology and ETL-listed optics, drive mechanism, controls, software and indicators.
The SU3000 and SU3500 optical turnstiles represent Alvarado’s latest updates to its extensive product portfolio for secured entry control applications.
The SU3000 is a drop-arm-style barrier optical turnstile available in both 28- and 36-inch passage widths. Like the SU5000, the SU3000 series has the same advantage in that the cabinet size does not increase for accessibility requirements. The cabinet maintains a very aesthetic and slim design, measuring only 7 inches wide. Using Alvarado’s latest technology, the drop arms move at very high rates of speed with utmost precision and life safety controls coupled with excellent tailgate detection.
Similarly, the SU3500 is a bi-parting wing style barrier optical turnstile available in both 22- and 36-inch passage widths. Retractable panels move precisely and quickly to achieve high throughput rates. Clear panels allow for additional customizations (e.g. logo etching).
And like the SU5000, the SU3000 and SU3500 integrate seamlessly with Alvarado’s GateKeeper control and monitoring software. The only difference now is they are able to do so via native TCP/IP communication. GateKeeper eliminates clunky control panels by allowing the control, administration and monitoring of multiple optical turnstiles from a single PC.
“The new SU3000 and SU3500 represent Alvarado’s commitment toward standardization and providing our customer base with cutting edge technologies,” said Alvarado President Bret Armatas. “We continue to produce the best looking optical turnstiles on the market backed by the best quality, best support and best deliveries possible.”
