Associa’s Desert Resort Management Earns Accreditation Honors

PALM DESERT, Calif.--()--Desert Resort Management, an Associa company, is proud to announce its recent distinction as an Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC®), as determined by the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

“It means a lot to know we are the only community management company in our area to achieve this distinction,” says Desert Resort Management President and CEO Mark Dodge. “We are honored that CAI has recognized us for our commitment to providing the best managers and the best service to the residents throughout our region.”

The AAMC® distinction was announced at the recent CAI annual conference in Orlando, Florida. The accreditation demonstrates a company's commitment to providing the unique and diverse services community associations need. An AAMC® ensures that its staff has the skills, experience, and integrity to help communities succeed, and that managers have advanced training and demonstrated commitment to the industry.

Some of the requirements to achieve an AAMC® distinction are a minimum of three years of experience providing community association management services, a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designee must serve as the company's senior manager, and 50% of the of managers must hold a CAI professional designation (CMCA®, AMS®, or PCAM®). Currently, 95% of Desert Resort Management managers hold at least one CAI designation.
