BANGALORE, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Syniverse today inaugurated a new Bangalore office that will consolidate its services in India’s technology hub with a focus on delivering centralized support along with strengthened innovation to customers in India and around the world. The opening further demonstrates the company’s commitment to the India market.
Bringing together over 500 people from two former offices in Bangalore, the new office unites employees from Syniverse’s acquisition of MACH who became a part of Syniverse in 2013. The new office also represents the largest facility in India for Syniverse, which also has offices in Gurgaon and Hyderabad. The consolidated operation will centralize the support of Syniverse’s customers and the delivery of Syniverse’s solutions.
“As home to the world’s second-largest population and also a country in which our company has its second-largest presence, India is a critical area of focus for our business,” said Joe DiFonzo, Chief Technology Officer, Syniverse. “As mobile continues to evolve at a lightning-fast pace, our new combined office will work together with our offices in Hyderabad and Gurgaon to more nimbly support our customers and bring to market the advanced solutions today’s mobile users demand.”
The office will be inaugurated today in an opening ceremony presided by DiFonzo along with Senior Vice President and General Manager Paresh Shah.
“With almost 900 million subscribers and more than 15 million mobile devices sold each month, India is one of the world’s largest and most dynamic mobile markets, and our new Bangalore office demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest level of service we can to serve customer needs in this critical region, ” Shah said. “Our more than 500 employees based in this facility have a wide range of skills and experience to further help our customers deliver on the promise of mobility – a simple, interoperable, always-on experience.”
