Quintiles Named a Best Workplace in Europe

Ranked 24th in the Best “Multinational Large” Workplace category

READING, England--()--Quintiles announced today that it has been recognized as one of Europe’s Best Workplaces by the Great Place to Work® Institute, finishing in 24th place in the Best “Multinational Large” Workplace category. Quintiles was also recognized this year in several individual European countries including Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The Great Place to Work Institute annual ranking is the most comprehensive study in organizational culture in the world. More than 2,330 companies representing over 1.5 million employees participated in the 2013-14 Best Workplaces study in Europe. This year’s recognition marks Quintiles’ fourth appearance on the European Great Places to Work list.

Quintiles senior vice president integrated site services, European headquarters, Lindy Jones said, “This award represents the company’s commitment to providing a positive work environment that fosters passionate and engaged employees who are dedicated to excellent customer service and helping to improve the lives of patients worldwide. We are incredibly proud of our teams across Europe, for their contribution for making Quintiles a Great Place to Work.”

Great Place to Work launched the first Best Companies to Work For list in conjunction with Fortune magazine in the United States and Exame in Brazil more than 20 years ago. Great Place to Work now recognises workplaces in nearly 50 countries.

“The Great Workplace Era is a time when all people can expect to work for an organisation where they trust their leaders, enjoy their colleagues and take pride in what they do. A time, in other words, when workplaces make the world better,” says China Gorman, global CEO of Great Place to Work. “This era is arriving in Europe and other parts of the globe. And it’s good news for everyone.”
