While the other major process cooling manufacturers offer standard warranties for 12-24 months, the new standard warranty offered by Legacy covers all models for 60 months from date of shipment. It covers exchanges of a factory installed part for reason of a factory confirmed defect in workmanship or material failure. Some of the qualifications for coverage include:
- Chiller has been properly installed according to factory recommendations
- Chiller has been properly field started and commissioned in accordance with factory recommendations
- A Field Commissioning Checklist has been completed, signed, and sent back within 30 days
- Application for chiller is one for which it is properly suited
