SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation (NYSE: ANH) announced today that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) authorized, on May 22, 2014, the Company to acquire up to an additional 10,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock through its share repurchase program. Previously, on March 14, 2014, Anworth’s Board had authorized the Company to acquire up to an additional 10,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock and on December 13, 2013, the Board had authorized the Company to acquire up to an additional 5,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock.
