(NASDAQ: UNTD), today announced that NetZero® Mobile and Home Wireless Broadband products and services are now available in up to 1,500 wireless retail locations in Texas, California and Florida. Previously, NetZero Mobile and Home Wireless Broadband could only be purchased via the company’s www.netzero.com website or by phone at 1-800-NETZERO.
NetZero’s entrance into the retail market comes through an agreement with Volante Mobile, a master agent for mobile products and services.

But more importantly it gives our customers, especially those who prefer to pay with cash, a way to buy that service in person, economically and with a minimum amount of hassle. When they run out of data, they can easily buy more online or, if it’s more convenient, they can return to the retail store and buy it there.”
Retail customers can choose between the NetZero HotSpotTM, which can connect multiple WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously, the NetZero StickTM, which connects one device via a USB port, and the NetZero Home Wireless Broadband device, which is a modem and WiFi router in one. They can also purchase pre-paid data in various denominations to use with the device.
Customers who purchase the NetZero Stick or the NetZero Hotspot can choose from the following data denominations:
- $15 for 1GB
- $25 for 3GB
- $50 for 8GB
Customers who purchase the NetZero Home Wireless Broadband modem can choose from the following data allotments:
- $15 for 2GB
- $25 for 5GB
- $50 for 12GB
