Today, Zephyrhills® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water, a Nestlé Waters North America brand, launched the celebration of its 50th anniversary with a 50 Things We Love About Florida campaign, which will support the Tampa Bay area with a donation of up to $50,000 to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and Tampa Bay Watch. The Zephyrhills® donation will fund a series of “We Love Florida’s Water” projects including a river clean-up, watershed education and recycling activities. As a brand dedicated to celebrating what’s most natural in Florida, Zephyrhills® is committed to helping organizations that promote environmental stewardship.
To maximize the donation to $50,000, the brand is calling on Tampa Bay area residents to share what their “Florida Favorite” is via social channels – Twitter, Instagram or on the Zephyrhills® Facebook wall – or at onsite activations sponsored by the Zephyrhills® brand by filling out a “Sun Badge.” From May 15 to September 15, 2014 for every “Florida Favorite” post or “Sun Badge” collected, the Zephyrhills® brand will donate $1 to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and Tampa Bay Watch, up to a total donation of $50,000. Following the program period, Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful and Tampa Bay Watch will use the Zephyrhills® brand’s donation to fund various cleanup efforts in the Tampa Bay area.
In addition to the 50 Things We Love About Florida campaign, the Zephyrhills® brand will offer other ways for the community to enjoy the best of Florida, including:
- Surprise events where some admission fees at local Tampa Bay venues will be covered by Zephyrhills®.
- Visits by WaterVentures Florida’s Learning Lab – a traveling science center that provides environmental education to students and citizens, empowering them to make environmentally conscious decisions – presented in partnership with Crystal Springs Foundation.
