SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oticon, Inc., a leading manufacturer of hearing solutions announces the launch of the upgraded Streamer Pro that will enable people who use Oticon wireless hearing instruments to connect to iPhone® via the Oticon ConnectLine App. The small and discreet Streamer Pro is worn around the neck and acts as an intermediary device to connect Bluetooth-enabled devices to Oticon hearing instruments. The upgraded Streamer Pro and ConnectLine App work with all Oticon wireless hearing aids purchased since 2007, the year the company first launched a wireless solution.

When the Streamer Pro is paired with the ConnectLine App, it provides intuitive functionality that enables users to switch to a variety of input sources with just a few taps. Volume can be adjusted individually for each source - in advance or in the moment. Users can move seamlessly from listening to music to making audio and FaceTime calls. They can also connect to the entire integrated ConnectLine system which allows them to stream audio from TV, landline and office phones, personal microphones and more directly to their hearing devices.
The ConnectLine App allows users to clearly see what hearing program they are using. Program names can be personalized so that they are easily identified, such as restaurant, office, sports and more. Users can also take advantage of several custom options including last number dialed, reject call and voice dial, as well as setting specific functions, such as designating ringtones to identify specific callers.
