UC Berkeley Extension Announces Summer 2014 Enrollment

Adult students welcome to enroll in courses throughout the Bay Area and online

BERKELEY, Calif.--()--UC Berkeley Extension announces more than 500 summer 2014 courses now open for enrollment. The continuing education branch of the University of California, Berkeley, UC Berkeley Extension offers professional development and personal enrichment in the classroom and online for adults in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Updated for summer 2014, the Professional Sequence in Cultural Landscape Preservation and Management now requires just three lecture and studio courses to complete; the curriculum teaches the industry standards, vocabulary and techniques to maintain outdoor cultural and natural resources associated with historic events and people. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Preparatory Program, revised with new elective courses, offers all of the required coursework to strengthen applications to competitive clinical laboratory scientist (CLS) training programs.

UC Berkeley Extension offers more than 75 professional certificates and specialized programs of study that provide focused instruction in career development. Professional certificates signify the highest level of academic achievement from UC Berkeley Extension. Academic advisory boards comprising industry experts, UC Berkeley professors and Extension academic staff oversee and approve all certificate curricula.
