ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--By Light Professional IT Services, Inc. (By Light), a leader in secure, robust wireless networking solutions for Federal Civilian Agencies, Law Enforcement and the Department of Defense, has recently completed the design, implementation and integration of the Department of Justice’s Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) Enterprise WLAN. The effort, accomplished in a 12 month period, consisted of site surveys followed by the installation/implementation at 240 EOUSA offices and 3 Data centers nationwide.
This effort was awarded under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded to By Light by the U.S. Department of Justice in September 2012. The DOJ Wireless BPA is a 5-year contract to deliver secure 802.XX products, services and support throughout the Department. “By Light has been at the forefront of delivering wireless solutions throughout the Federal Government for more than five years. The BPA provides commercially available, standards-based wireless local area network (WLAN) solutions to the DOJ. It includes all required hardware, software, software licenses, warranties, engineering services, installation, training and technical support services required to fully implement a secure WLAN solution in the DOJ Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) network environment. "DOJ has many unique challenges in deploying wireless including information security and mobility. By Light has been solving similar technical challenges for the DoD community since wireless matured into a viable technology option.
