DANVERS, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--International Cars, Ltd. (ICL) announced today its donation of 3,784 collected non-perishable food items to Massachusetts and New Hampshire food pantries through its Food for Friends campaign, along with a five hundred dollar gift certificate to each of the three participating pantries. ICL and its family of dealerships which include Honda North, Dover Honda, Dover Chevrolet, Audi Stratham, and Porsche of Stratham sponsored the February food drive in an effort to facilitate hunger-relief within its surrounding communities.
“We are grateful to help our local communities by hosting our 3rd Annual Food for Friends campaign” said Richard Collins, CEO of International Cars, Ltd. “We understand that fighting hunger is a daily struggle and not just around the holidays, which is why we established the food drive to help combat hunger in the communities in which our dealerships reside.”
Each ICL dealership participated in sponsoring Food for Friends, collecting gracious food donations from friends, neighbors and customers throughout the month of February. All collectables were donated to surrounding food pantries within the dealerships' communities: Danvers People to People Food Pantry, Table of Plenty in Berwick, Maine, SCCA Outreach in Dover, and St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry in Exeter.
