Within the past few years, card-based transactions have increased significantly, replacing cash as the go-to method for consumers' transactions. However, the inconvenience of a lost or stolen card far outweighs the convenience of using the card itself. Traditionally, a new or replacement card can take up to two weeks to deliver, resulting in dissatisfaction for the cardholder and a loss for the financial institution.
Seeking to strengthen its commitment to timely fulfillment and customer service, EFT Source designed its patented instant issuance solution, Card@Once, to provide immediate delivery of debit, prepaid or reloadable cards on-site. With Card@Once, customers simply walk into a branch and, within seconds, receive a fully functioning, personalized payment card. When a customer requests a card, the data is securely transferred from the branch location to EFT Source. The data is immediately processed and converted into an encrypted print file that is returned to the branch electronically. Card@Once encodes the data and prints the card allowing the customer to walk away with a permanent, ready-to-use debit card.
