TOKYO & FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and a leading colocation provider, today announced that it has connected to the BBIX Internet Exchange in Tokyo.
The new exchange point will provide customers of BBIX with reduced latency, improved fault tolerance, and access to Hurricane Electric’s IPv4 and IPv6 network through 100BaseT, 1GigE, 10Gbps, and 100GE service. Additionally, customers of BBIX will now have the opportunity to exchange IP traffic, or “peer,” with Hurricane Electric’s global network.
