MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh Networks, today announced Sagar Chandra has joined the team as Vice President of Business Development, Latin America. In his new role, Mr. Chandra will be responsible for strategic business development in Latin America.

Sagar possesses more than 16 years of experience in providing Fleet Management and Mine Management Systems to global mining customers. He has extensive experience working with large mining companies in North and South America including BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Barrick, Imperial Oil, Cliffs Natural Resources, Codelco, Vale and others.

Mr. Chandra joins Rajant after serving as Services Director, Americas for Geovia, formerly known as Gemcom, where he was responsible for increasing the revenues and utilization of the Americas’ services team. Prior to that, he spent the bulk of his career with Modular Mining Systems holding a variety of titles, including most recently General Manager, North America. While at Modular, Mr. Chandra helped grow Modular’s North America business and increased the new customer base.
Sagar holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA from the University of Arizona.
