LegalTech New York 2014

NEW YORK--()--At LegalTech New York 2014 today, Law Bulletin Publishing Company (LBPC) announced that its JuraLaw® web-based national case, calendar and docket management SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) product now includes New York State court calendar and docket information, as well as New York federal and bankruptcy court calendar data, all directly obtained from the courts. Additionally, JuraLaw® integrates court rules from across the nation to automatically create calendar events. JuraLaw® will be demonstrated at LegalTech Booth #437 today through Thursday, February 6th.

JuraLaw® notifies law firms of critical court calendar dates and deadlines in advance, and connects directly to Microsoft Outlook to populate lawyer and staff calendars. The JuraLaw® sophisticated algorithm-based system analyzes and precisely matches law firm cases to New York court information. This superior case pattern number technology leaps far ahead of anything offered by competing docket management products, providing the most accurate match of law firms’ cases to court calendar and docket information.

JuraLaw® was created based on feedback from top national law firms. Many New York firms and court experts were consulted as the New York edition was developed. Frank Pollina, former Chief Clerk, Motion Support Division, New York Supreme Court, New York County, remarks, "Law Bulletin painstakingly studied and interpreted the court data to best present it to the end-user in JuraLaw®. They have been very diligent in their presentation of the court data within JuraLaw® to make it most useful to the case and docket management of New York law firms." The JuraLaw® user-friendly dashboard interface allows New York managing attorneys and clerks to review court information first, before releasing it into JuraLaw®.

David Glynn, VP of Docket Management Technologies for LBPC, explains, “With the inclusion of New York court diary and docket information in addition to court rules, JuraLaw® truly becomes a national product that can meet all the docketing needs of a law firm." JuraLaw® will work in either a centralized or decentralized environment. JuraLaw® offers a comprehensive, single solution that ensures consistency and accuracy of the firm’s docket. "With the addition of this content and greatly expanded features, we offer a complete product that eliminates the need for multiple docketing vendors. We have accomplished this with this latest release of JuraLaw® and are proud to launch it at LegalTech New York.”
