SEATTLE--()--Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ:SBUX) today launched more ways for customers to love their latte with the new handcrafted Starbucks® Caramel Flan Latte and Starbucks VIA® Lattes in Starbucks® stores across the U.S. and Canada.

“This winter, we invite customers to enjoy their favorite Starbucks moment, whether it’s the new Caramel Flan Latte or classic Caffè Latte personalized just the way they like it, or a delicious cup of Starbucks VIA® Latte when they can’t get to a Starbucks® store,” said Cliff Burrows, group president, Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Teavana. “In 1984, we served our first handcrafted latte in Starbucks® stores. We are pleased to now offer a seasonal flavor of the original coffeehouse classic with Caramel Flan, while also adding the convenience of the beloved latte in the VIA format.”

Enjoy the New Caramel Flan Latte

Starting today for a limited-time, customers can enjoy the new Starbucks® Caramel Flan Latte, an espresso beverage inspired by the deliciously popular dessert. This beverage combines Starbucks® signature Espresso Roast, freshly steamed milk and rich flan flavored syrup, topped with a caramel infused whipped cream and a soft layer of caramelized sugar drizzle. Based on positive customer feedback as part of a regional offering last year, Caramel Flan Latte is now available to customers nationwide and can be ordered hot, iced or as a Frappuccino® blended beverage. Customers can also enjoy the inherent benefits of calcium, vitamin D, protein and a balance of other nutrients provided by the deliciously creamy, steamed milk of choice as well as other personalization options.

New Starbucks VIA® Latte: Vanilla Latte & Caffè Mocha

Also new this winter are Starbucks VIA® Vanilla Latte and Caffè Mocha, inspired by the two popular handcrafted Starbucks® beverages, now available at a moment’s notice by simply adding water when you can’t get to a Starbucks® store.

  • Starbucks VIA® Caffè Mocha: Inspired by the irresistible flavors of the handcrafted version, Starbucks® VIA Caffè Mocha is the perfect union of cocoa, Starbucks® coffee and natural dairy.
  • Starbucks VIA® Vanilla Latte: The much-loved Starbucks® Vanilla Latte inspired the creation of this everyday companion, featuring rich Starbucks® coffee, natural dairy and vanilla flavor.

Starbucks VIA® Lattes are available at participating Starbucks® locations in the U.S. and Canada and on starbucksstore.com ($6.95 for 4 ct-pack), with nationwide grocery availability by spring ($7.99 for 5 ct-pack).
