Arcadia Healthcare Solutions’ Arcadia Analytics Meaningful User Calculation Engine Receives 2014 ONC HIT Certification

BURLINGTON, Mass.--()--Arcadia Healthcare Solutions announced today that Arcadia Analytics Meaningful Use Calculation Engine v1.0 is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as an EHR Module on December 2, 2013 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC 2014 Edition criteria support both Stage 1 and 2 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Arcadia Analytics is a centralized data warehousing, analytics and reporting platform supporting improved patient care and reduced healthcare costs for health system and health plan customers nationwide. Arcadia Analytics aggregates data from many different clinical EHR, financial claims and other operational sources to provide a trusted and unified view of a population. This information is used for Population Health Analysis, Quality and Performance Improvement, Compliance Reporting, and more. While the product has a web-based reporting tool, it also has a number of “backend” data integration and calculation components. One such component is the Meaningful Use Calculation Engine, a tool intended to support customers seeking Meaningful Use (MU) measurement, performance improvement, and attestation.

“We believe that certifying for MU Stage II Clinical Quality Measures validates our leading position as a data aggregator and enterprise quality measure solution provider, helping our clients with monitoring their progress, especially in multi-platform environments,” said Chris Couch, Vice President of Delivery and Operations, Arcadia Healthcare Solutions.

The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2014 Edition criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more – but not all – of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.

“CCHIT congratulates companies successfully achieving EHR technology certification,” said Alisa Ray, executive director, CCHIT. “These companies are now able to make their products available to providers wishing to adopt health IT to demonstrate meaningful use and earn federal incentives.”

Arcadia Analytics Meaningful Use Calculation Engine v1.0’s certification number is CC-2014-100094-1. ONC HIT certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
