CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Littelfuse, Inc., a global supplier of circuit protection, power control and sensing products announced today, that it is a winner of Processing magazine’s 2013 Breakthrough Product of the Year award. The SB6100 Series Industrial Shock-BlockTM was chosen for its innovation and expected impact on the processing industry. This competition recognizes products, technologies and services that made significant contributions to the processing industry in 2013.
The SB6100 Series Industrial Shock-BlockTM is part of the Littelfuse Protection Relay line. The SB6100 is the first and only ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) to meet UL 943 Class C and Class D requirements. Different than a typical residential GFCI, the SB6100 meets industrial requirements including higher trip level standards and advanced filtering technology.

About the SB6100 Series Industrial Shock-BlockTM
The SB6100 Series Industrial Shock-BlockTM, is an industrial ground fault circuit interrupter, which meets UL 943C. Until now, GFCIs have not been practical in industrial settings. The SB6100 can be used on systems up to 600V and with much higher leakage current than residential GFCI devices. The SB6100 is available in a NEMA-4X UL-listed enclosure or as an open-chassis unit.
Applications for this product include electrical cabinets supplying power to pumps, washers, mixers and any areas where operators, electrical equipment and wet conditions are present.
