Citi Travel Privileges Launches in Europe, Middle East & Africa

New Travel Upgrades to Benefit Citi Cardholders Based in Europe, Middle East & Africa

LONDON--()--Citi announces Travel Privileges, a portal to travel benefits that covers most aspects of booking hotel reservations, air travel and car rental— exclusively for use by Citi cardholders.

Travel Privileges offers instantaneous reservations and discounts built into each step of the booking experience. It also includes discounts and special privileges negotiated on behalf of Citi cardholders for events and activities such as concerts, restaurants, shopping and museums.

“For the first time in London, Citi Travel Privileges upgrades your experience from the moment you book to the moment you return,” said John Denhof, Citi’s Head of Cards in Europe, the Middle East & Africa. “We encourage cardholders to plan their travel using Travel Privileges to take advantage of these great new benefits in having a relationship with us here in EMEA.”

For example with Travel Privileges, Citi cardholders who are:

  • Going to Paris? Receive a 2% discount on flights from lastminute.com
  • Still looking for a hotel near Montmartre? Get a 7% discount with Expedia
  • Bringing your children to Disneyland Paris? Book the tickets with 10% discount
  • Travelling to the south of France? Your car rental will be 10% cheaper with Hertz

Travel Privileges is available to Citi debit and credit card customers in Bahrain, Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

This service is provided exclusively to Citi cardholders in collaboration with Xexec and leading travel service providers including Expedia and lastminute.com.
