At the National Summit for the American Express Retail Travel Network held in early November, AMEX vice-president Tony Gonchar, announced the creation of the new “Crafted Journeys” program. The program will focus on highly customized travel experiences in 12 countries. Only the highest quality destination travel companies were selected as American Express representatives in their regions.
Albee Adventures, known for its quality service and commitment to making every trip a personal adventure, was selected for destinations in Costa Rica, Belize, Panama, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The other companies chosen were Aida Tours for the Middle East, Entree Canada for Canada, Imperial Tours for China and Peirce and Leslie for India.
Crafted Journeys is a program that combines safety and luxury for trips to exotic and relatively unknown locations, while making special arrangements for the specific needs of each traveller. American Express has committed to promote this new program with the strength of the American Express brand.
