The inaugural NAPE Rockies continued today with the opening of the expo floor at the Colorado Convention Center with more than 200 booths and 2,500 attendees networking and working to close oil and gas deals. NAPE, the world's largest E&P (upstream) expo, brings prospects and producing properties from around the world to establish strategic alliances for doing business and initiating purchases and trades. NAPE now manages five U.S. shows including NAPE International, Winter NAPE, and NAPE South held in Houston; Nape East in Pittsburgh in spring; and now NAPE Rockies in Denver. NAPE was created as the North American Prospect Expo by AAPL in 1993 and now includes partners IPAA, Society of Geophysicists (SEG), and American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).
