SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rover.com, the digital home dog boarding leader that connects dog owners with approved dog sitters, announced today a new partnership with the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF). With this partnership Rover is making a $5,000 donation to the foundation and (ISF) will be joining Rover’s Sit-a-Dog, Save-a-Life program.
Rover’s Sit-a-Dog, Save-a-Life program allows Rover sitters to easily donate a portion of their proceeds to partner animal rescues and shelters and has been part of Rover since the inception of the company. The program currently works with over 40 organizations nationwide and has more than 1,200 Rover sitters who donate on a monthly basis. To date the program has donated over $38,000. Additionally, for the month of December Rover is matching all sitter donations to their partners.
