CSSS.NET Changes Name to Constellation West

WASHINGTON--()--CSSS.NET, a leading provider of mission-critical technology solutions for the U.S. government and one of the fastest-growing service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, small disadvantaged businesses in the country, announced today it has changed its name to Constellation West.

“Over the last 16 years, the company has evolved dramatically from its initial IT origins to become 100 percent focused on serving the government,” said Lisa Wolford, president and CEO of Constellation West. “Today we are one of the leading innovators for federal agencies in cybersecurity, IT engineering, cloud and agile systems design, and we needed a new name to help take us into the future.”

The company has a strong record of success providing solutions critical to defense and federal civilian agencies around the country. Founded originally as a consultancy practice, today Constellation West has a team that is more than 160 strong located in offices in Nebraska, the District and around the country supporting customers on-site. The company’s dramatic growth and expansion have gained it recognition as one of the county’s fastest-growing businesses and a top job creator. Constellation West is focused on delivering innovative technology solutions that make a positive impact on our nation. Its unique heritage as a service-disabled veteran-owned, woman-owned and small disadvantaged business makes its growth and success particularly significant.

The rebranding of CSSS.NET to Constellation West follows a series of recent news announcements related to business expansion, new contracts and awards, including:

  • Moving its company headquarters from Bellevue, Neb., to Washington, D.C.
  • Hiring former USIS vice president Ray Tye as senior vice president and former Booz Allen Hamilton senior associate Jeff Ondris as eastern region director.
  • Being recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. magazine.
  • Winning two Gold Stevies from the International Business Awards for Company of the Year and Executive of the Year and a Bronze Stevie for IT Team of the Year.
  • Winning a Gold Stevie for Executive of the Year and a Silver Stevie for Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2013 Women in Business Awards.

“Our new brand embodies our pioneering spirit and our commitment to delivering the right solutions for our clients’ most difficult challenges,” said Wolford. “Our new company tagline, ‘Where extraordinary works,’ also pays homage to the great talent and commitment I see from our employees who deliver amazing, extraordinary solutions to our customers every day. By leveraging top-notch technical solutions with our team, we guide our customers on the best course of action to maximize their success every step of the way.”

To support its continued growth, Constellation West is seeking to fill open positions for IT engineers, cybersecurity specialists, network analysts and other specialized personnel to work on its diverse government contracts. The company expects to increase its team by about a third by filling approximately 50 open positions over the next six months.
