Fusion Venture’s implementation of WestClinTech’s XLeratorDB enabled the private equity firm to migrate from its experimental Excel modeling environment to Microsoft SQL Server and greatly expand its trading program.

With Fusion’s option portfolio already up over 75%, Jones is looking to expand its option trading program and the firm’s use of XLeratorDB. Jones added, “XLeratorDB has made us a 15X return and it offers 500 times the processing that Excel is capable of.”
