PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Philadelphia Technology Park, a leading colocation data center based in Philadelphia, today announced that it completed an expansion of its Philadelphia Navy Yard location.
The additional footprint to the existing data center increases Philadelphia Technology Park’s available raised data floor. This will allow the colocation facility to offer clients even more scalability, redundancy, and security. The construction of the expansion space was a six-month, multimillion-dollar project.
An increasing number of organizations continue to outsource their data center needs to colocation companies so they can focus solely on their core business elements while knowing their IT infrastructure is in a secure environment. As one of Pennsylvania’s largest carrier-neutral data centers, Philadelphia Technology Park serves customers in the greater Philadelphia and tri-state areas.
“Philadelphia Technology Park is one the most connected data centers in the Greater Philadelphia area. We are always looking to expand our facility to meet the demands for our services as our customer base continues to expand their IT footprint and infrastructure,” said Corey Blanton, Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Technology Parks. “The expansion ensures our ability to continue providing our customers, operating in a wide-range of industries, with piece of mind 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. We help to eliminate any fear, uncertainty or doubt associated with housing their mission critical IT infrastructure in our data center.”
