NDN Names Hulu Executive John Vilade as Executive Vice President of Ad Sales

NEW YORK--()--NDN, the 4th largest online video platform in the U.S. with an audience of more than 50.5 million monthly unique viewers*, today named John Vilade as Executive Vice President of Ad Sales. Reporting to CEO Greg Peters, Mr. Vilade will be based in NDN's New York office and will drive cross-platform video advertising strategies and revenue growth.

Mr. Vilade comes to NDN after over four years at Hulu, where he was Vice President, National Advertising Sales for the Eastern & Central Regions. During his tenure at Hulu, Mr. Vilade was responsible for several hundred million dollars of annual revenue and managed a 50-person ad sales team in New York, Chicago and Detroit, while developing and maintaining major client and agency relationships.

Prior to Hulu, Mr. Vilade served as Vice President in the national advertising sales divisions of The Discovery Networks and NBC Universal, working across the large portfolios of both media conglomerates. Earlier in his career, Mr. Vilade was with both The Weather Channel and NBC’s CNBC & MSNBC cable news properties in the affiliate relations, business development and advertising sales areas. Mr. Vilade earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Baylor University (Waco, TX).
