Intelligent Car Coalition Launches New Website

WASHINGTON--()--The Intelligent Car Coalition, a group of technology industry stakeholders devoted to talking with consumers and decision-makers about the exciting developments in the dynamic intelligent vehicle space, today announced the launch of its new website, www.intelligentcarcoalition.org.

Visitors to the website will find the latest top industry news and a calendar of industry events, as well as a members-only page with daily news clips, specialized research reports, notifications of breaking events, summaries of Congressional hearings, and more.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of our website, which will educate visitors about intelligent vehicle technology and provide insight into this rapidly-evolving space,” said Executive Director Catherine McCullough. “The mission of the Coalition is to advocate for public policies that bring the benefits of innovation at the intersection of automotive and communications technologies to consumers and promote safety, mobility, and transportation efficiency on our nation’s roads and highways. This website will help foster conversation and promote awareness on important issues such as distracted driving, privacy, autonomous vehicles, data, an appropriate policy framework for these new technologies, and more.”

The Coalition’s founding members include the Association for Competitive Technology (ACT), AT&T, Hughes Telematics (a Verizon Company), Intel, the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), and Verizon.
