VMware User Group (VMUG) Grows International Membership Through Expanded European Presence and Events

CHICAGO--()--VMware User Group (VMUG), the world’s largest user community for VMware, has announced it will expand its 2014 schedule of VMUG events in Europe. The increased number of events is the largest sign of VMUG’s international growth, which is significantly fueled by a growing interest by VMware users to participate in member conferences, networking events and instructional and training opportunities.

VMUG has made the strategic decision to expand its reach in European countries based on increased VMware usage across the continent and a call for membership in the community and VMUG membership benefits by large numbers of innovative VMware users.

“Ensuring a consistent and high quality experience for all of our VMUG members while creating a cohesive network of VMware customers and partners with a collective voice capable of impacting VMware products and services is has been our driving force since day one,” says Victor Bohnert, VMUG Executive Director.

While putting users at the core of the organization has always been top of mind for VMUG’s leadership team, 2014 will bring new programs, events and educational opportunities aimed at providing an even more effective interface between VMware and VMUG members.

By always keeping its members in mind, VMUG has grown to over 180 local chapters, with over 80,000 active members worldwide in over 32 countries and offers over 35 complimentary annual user conferences across the globe.
