EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DIRECTV customers will have a cornucopia of programming to feast on no matter where they choose to spend the holidays this season. This month the DIRECTV Everywhere service will offer its customers even more choice and more content in a simple and intuitive experience across multiple devices.
Beginning Nov. 21, DIRECTV Everywhere is expanding its service to offer more than 30 live TV out-of-home (OOH) streaming channels, including popular channels like HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel, STARZ , ENCORE, Tennis Channel and Scripps Networks. In addition, the company will now deliver a lineup of 100 live TV in-home streaming channels.
To support the DIRECTV Everywhere programming expansion, the company is also relaunching its Android tablet app to support both live and on demand programming across all screen sizes and various operating systems. This extends the DIRECTV Everywhere offering across all major devices and screen sizes.
DIRECTV is also expanding its on demand content lineup on DIRECTV.com. Now DIRECTV customers can enjoy more than 19,000 high-quality streaming titles, at no additional cost on their computers.
