EDINBURGH, Scotland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading global travel search site Skyscanner, announces the appointment of Alex Rahe as the General Manager for the Americas.
Rahe will manage Skyscanner´s expansion into the North and South American markets, as well as drive the company´s strategy and development in the region. Based in the new Miami office, Alex will report to Frank Skivington, Skyscanner’s Chief Commercial Officer.
Rahe brings with him more than 20 years of senior commercial experience, running a number of travel companies´ sales and marketing operations in the Americas, including Saudi Arabian Airlines, Sixt, Star Alliance, and Lufthansa. He joins Skyscanner from the Global Business Travel Association Foundation, where he was Director of Business Development, a role which saw him responsible for market development and growth in Latin America and Europe.
