Acumera Provides Trusted Connection Services for Go-Mart

Network upgrade complete at more than 100 locations

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Acumera – the leader in Trusted Connection Services for retail organizations – today announced it is providing network security, connectivity and visibility for West Virginia-based Go-Mart, which operates more than 100 convenience stores in West Virginia and surrounding states.

In addition to significantly reducing the costs associated with managing and maintaining Go-Mart’s network, Acumera’s C-Store Connections package will deliver enhanced security and visibility for the company’s day-to-day operations. According to Go-Mart General Manager Paul Gaughan, Acumera is also providing valuable support for Go-Mart’s ongoing Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance policies and programs.

“One of the factors that attracted us to Acumera is the breadth and depth of the team’s PCI knowledge, and their willingness to guide us through the complex process of building and maintaining a PCI-compliant network,” said Gaughan. “By specializing in network security for the convenience store space, Acumera has been able to jump right in, understand our network design, and address security requirements throughout all of our stores quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.”

As a part of the C-Store Connections package, Acumera will also provide Go-Mart with broadband carrier management services, managed VPNs, network operations center support and remote system visibility through the AcuVigil™ dashboard.

“Like many of our customers in the industry, Go-Mart is facing increasing pressure to improve network security and design, streamline operations, enhance visibility into store systems and reduce downtime, all while managing limited IT resources,” said Acumera CEO Dirk Heinen. “Our Trusted Connections Services, such as managed VPNs and the web-based AcuVigil dashboard, are key tools to help reduce Go-Mart’s operating expenses and improve uptime. We are excited to support Go-Mart stores and their team with our services.”
