The firm reported that in British Columbia, clean technology venture investment during the quarter totaled $3.9 million, bringing the year-to-date total to $23 million.
According to data in i3, B.C.’s top deals and their investors were:
- Radient Technologies, an Advanced Materials company, raised $2.6 million from Kirchner Private Capital Group, and Foundation Equity in a structured debt round
- SemiosBIO, an Agriculture & Forestry company, raised $948,000 from Niagara Angel Network in a seed round
- Legend Power, an Energy Efficiency company, raised $198,030 in a PIPE round
- Crimson Bioenergy, a Biofuels & Biochemicals company, raised $100,000 in a PIPE round
- Solarvest BioEnergy, a Biofuels & Biochemicals company, raised $100,000 in a PIPE round
