SEATTLE & PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Add3 (www.add3.com), a search marketing firm specializing in search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and online display advertising, today announced that it has acquired Portland-based search marketing agency Amplify Interactive (www.amplifyinteractive.com), a key move in Add3’s ongoing efforts to become the West Coast’s leading search marketing firm.
Effective immediately, Amplify Interactive has retired its brand and now operates as the Portland office of Add3. Amplify’s founder and President, Ben Lloyd, has been named Add3 Principal and is heading the company’s Portland operations. The addition of Amplify’s five Portland-based employees brings Add3’s total headcount to approximately 30, and the company plans to continue hiring in both its Seattle and Portland hubs. The company’s staff now has more than 200 cumulative years of search marketing experience.
Add3, which was recently included on the Inc. 500/5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, is profitable, entirely self-funded and is on track to post revenues of $10 million for 2013. According to Add3 CEO Paul Uhlir, Amplify Interactive’s longstanding expertise in search marketing disciplines closely mirrors Add3’s areas of emphasis and brings Add3 a track record of success and a growing base of clients from the Portland area and beyond.
